Let’s celebrate spring together!

During the weekend of the Jardins Abertos festival, families and institutions open the gates of their gardens, vegetable patches, backyards and patios to share their memories and green spaces.

We are looking for volunteers aged 16 and over, who are interested in gardens and nature, to support the spring 2019 edition of the Jardins Abertos festival.

Since its inception in 2017 the festival has spread its roots and grown happily, and, in order to guarantee this continued success, each edition needs the support of an extraordinary group of volunteers.

We ask you to make yourself available for 4 (or more) hours during the weekend of 25 and 26 May. It will be a unique experience, shaped by good company, friendship and sharing, during which you will get to to know in detail all the itinerary’s gardens and their secrets.

This is an opportunity to integrate a team of interested and dedicated volunteers. In line with your own preferences and competences you will be able to choose one or several of the following ways to support the festival:

—Receiving and welcoming our visitors
—Accompanying visits to the gardens
—Support and supervision of the activities that are part of the program
—Recording images of special moments (photography and videography)

We guarantee that for the whole team new and privileged knowledge will be created and shared.
Also, we kindly ask you to attend our preparatory meetings on 3 and 11 May.
